Now that you have completed the Beginner Crochet class, or have been crocheting for a while on your own, you are ready for the next step of learning which includes such techniques as “In the Round” and “Granny Squares”.
Working in the round starts with a circle or magic loop and then uses increases to make a circular project such as a hat, bag or basket.
The granny square uses in-the-round crocheting and the cluster stitch to create a slightly different look and you will learn how to crochet in the spaces.
Bring a ball of yarn to work with, a crochet hook that complements the yarn, and the learning will start right away! Tanis will also have examples that show the techniques and will be able to discuss various ways to use your new-found skills.
Phone 250-385-2727 or come in to the shop to register for the workshop.
1 ball of practise yarn and appropriate size hook.
